Our client in Düsseldorf, an international, fast growing company with a modern and dynamic 'start up' company culture is seeking an accomplished Accountant with both IFRS and crucially, Dutch GAAP accounting experience, which is a must. The ideal candidate would have had Big 4 consultancy grounding and would thrive in an entrepreneurial and diverse international culture with English as a business language.
Manager Financial Reporting - IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP (m/f)
In this role you will be responsible for the accounting of the Dutch subsidiaries (monthly and yearly close in Dutch GAAP and IFRS as well as US-GAAP conversion). Your tasks also include the monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis. You will be the first point of contact for all principal accounting questions regarding IFRS and US GAAP and you would also be involved in projects, including, developing the company accounting processes and tools.

Who we look for:
We are looking for individuals with very good academic background, e.g a university degree in economics with a finance major. You will have 4-5 years experience in a Big 4 Auditing firm or a big corporate firm within the accounting team responsible for similar tasks. Most importantly, you are familiar with the US or Dutch legislation and have strong skills in IFRS. You have excellent analytical skills and are fluent in English. Having also worked with SAP would be an advantage.
You also bring a valid work permit for Germany. Speaking German is an advantage but not a must have.
